Good news, it is possible to use Khmer Unicode on Windows Mobile 6.x

Nokorsoft is working on Keyboard Layout for Khmer Unicode on Windows Mobile 6 based on NiDA version 2.

* Well, it works fine on my phone, but just in case, please Backup your data and learn how to do hard reset on your phone before installing this software, it may cause your phone not to boot up. Also please make sure you have enough space to install the software.

FAQs:

Q1. Does it work with all phones using Windows Mobile?

A1. It works with most phones running with Windows Mobile 6.x profesional

Q2. How to install it?

A2. Download KUWM cab file, and install it cab file from your phone or via ActiveSyn. Please install it into Device. Make sure that you install it into the device not the storage card (it might not work).

Q3. How do i uninstall it?

A3. Go to Settings > System> Remove Programs>

form the list, select NokorsoftDanhHong KUWM, and click remove, then restart your phone.

Q4. Why 3 editions? What is the main difference between the 3 editions?

Well, it is about space requirement and the appearance of your phone.

Kh System font is not designed for Windows Mobile, so it makes your Windows Mobile OS looks ugly.

Also the software has to be installed on your phone not memory card (external storage), so it might  slow your phone down a bit.

The main difference:
Example: using IE to browse Gmail, it will show how the 3 editions support Khmer.
